Arsenal vs Chelsea: Team News And Kick-Off Time For The Carabao Cup Semi-Final Clash

Arsenal and Chelsea face off for the third time in January as they clash in the delicately poised Carabao Cup semi-final second leg on Wednesday.

The two sides played out a third draw in three meetings this season with a dour 0-0 stalemate at Stamford Bridge in the first leg.

Arsene Wenger and and Antonio Conte's sides both put dreadful runs behind them at the weekend with thumping wins.

The Gunners scored four times in the first 22 minutes on their way to a 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace while the Blues routed Brighton 4-0 away from home.

What is the team news?

Eden Hazard showed some of his best form in Chelsea's 4-0 win against Brighton at the weekend and hopes that his side can use that as a confidence boost to bring the game to Arsenal on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup.

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is facing a race against time to get fit for the second leg fixture.

He suffered a slight hamstring injury and was initially expected to miss the match against his former side.

The Gunners faced a scare earlier this month when Jack Wilshere was forced off the field during the first leg.

But the England international signalled that it was a minor knock and he will be fit to line-up against Antonio Conte's side.

What time is kick-off?

This match will take place today, January 24.

The Emirates stadium will host the showdown.

It will kick-off at 9pm.
