Kenyan Couple Who Went Viral After They Spent Only Sh100 On Their Wedding Returns To Street Hawking (Photos)

The Keyan couple, Wilson Mutura and Ann Wambui who was trending on internet after photos of their simple wedding which cost about Ks100 went viral have returned to street hawking after they failed to make profit from their supermarket.
The couple after going viral, got an all expense paid wedding, honeymoon and a supermarket opened for them. However, they had to close down the supermarket after they couldn't afford the rent due to lack of profits from sale.
The couple who are expecting their first child have returned to hawking apples on the street.
“We were making sales that were as little as Sh200 per day and at the end of the month had to borrow money for rent and so we decided to sell it off and buy enough fruits’ stock,” Mutara said to Nairobi News
When asked if their sponsor, Bonfire Adventures who had earlier stocked up the supermarket for them and promised to pay three months rent for them was aware of their decision to sell the store, Mutara said;
“Our mentor was always busy. He never shared any business tips so in the end we had to make a decision on our own.”
However, Bonfire Adeventures has refuted the claims saying they were with them during their baby shower.
“We have been with them all though even during the recent baby shower we were with them. Let me find out exactly what happened and get back to you.”
